Tiger milk mushroom: for a cough that keeps coming back?

Tested for nasal allergies. Not for cough.

Tigrox sells tiger milk mushroom (Lignosus rhinocerus) as lung “nurture” for a recurring cough. Short answer: one double-blind trial found it eased allergic rhinitis — a blocked, runny nose — over 30 days, though only in the half of people analysed per protocol. We found no trial of it for cough.

We found no trial of tiger milk mushroom for cough (PubMed, 2026-10-26). A cough that keeps returning is worth a doctor’s visit.
